Rehab programs will experience a major infux of medically complex patients, including those with neurological conditions, in the coming decades. The drastic increase is being spurred by an aging population. For instance, stroke prevalence is expected to rise by 21% by 2030, and more than 1.2 million citizens are projected to have Parkinson’s disease.
This leaves rehab leaders with one signifcant question: What can be done to prepare for the increase of medically complex patients? By evolving to meet the needs of this changing population, rehab programs can successfully meet the challenge, providing patients with the highest level of care while achieving greater performance standards.
In this whitepaper, we’ll examine the three areas that drive the greatest impact on treating medically complex patients: • Clinical staff • Tech innovation • Patient and family member experience

The asset and fund management industry has grown signifcantly in the last decade, with surveys indicating about 65 percent growth since 2007, to over USD 80 trillion in assets under management worldwide.
As its importance to the world financial system – linking those with money to invest with enterprises and activities that require funding – is increasingly recognized, so both the industry and the regulators that police the sector become more prominent.
The industry and regulators are coming under pressure from a range of “external” voices – demanding investors and consumer groups, clamoring political and economic needs, changing priorities and hopes of civil society, an increasingly noisy press, the explosion in social media and the rapid growth of new technologies.
This sea of voices is directly influencing the regulatory agenda and increasing expectations on the industry. A fundamental rethink of firms’ mindset and investment offerings is required.

Do you need an ATS? Broadly speaking, we’ve found three common scenarios driving the search for a better way to hire:
Growing pains - companies with growing pains are typically looking for some predictability and structure across candidate sourcing and hiring.
Drowning in email and spreadsheets - companies are looking for more efficient ways to manage candidates and collaborate as a team
Outdated software - companies are looking for a modern, efficient approach to deliver on the original promise of an ATS
A modern ATS, chosen with the right criteria, will relieve these common pain points. Take a step back and think about how your recruiting could be improved with the right tool.
"SD-WAN largely exists today to support two key enterprise transformations: multicloud and the software-defined branch (SD-Branch).
Multicloud has changed the center of gravity for enterprise applications, and with that, has changed traffic patterns too. No longer does traffic need to flow to enterprise data center sites or central internet peering points and breakouts. That’s because most traffic from users and devices in the enterprise campus and branch today goes to cloud-based applications scattered across a host of clouds.
It’s neither economical nor efficient to haul traffic over WAN-dedicated links to a central enterprise site. So to optimize the cost and performance of multicloud-bound traffic, modern WAN edge routers, often called customer premises equipment (CPE), are now equipped with hybrid WAN links and routing. Hybrid WAN interfaces may include WAN provider-dedicated links such as MPLS, as well as direct internet links over xDSL, broadband and 4G/LTE wireless."
"This Ovum white paper is sponsored by Juniper Networks. It reveals that organisations need to update and upgrade their cybersecurity postures to defend themselves against today's threats.
More than 80% of organisations in Asia are not protected against today's threats. Many of them depend on security investments made years ago, which cannot defend against new and emerging threats. The arrival of new technologies including cloud computing, the Internet of Things, mobility, bring your own device (BYOD), and social media have massively increased attack surfaces and expanded the threat landscape.
Over the past two years, there has been a global infestation of ransomware attacks, which have wrought destruction across a growing number of businesses. Crypto-jacking, attacks on critical infrastructure, and data exfiltration are now commonly affecting businesses and consumers alike. The financial impact of these attacks is increasing rapidly and has already cost some organisations hundreds o

The Obstacles They Faced
The online retailer needed to improve scalability, performance and agility to reduce the risk of unpredictable traffic causing outages or bad customer experiences.
What Spiraledge Achieved with Rackspace and GCP

Every lender, bank, and credit union has different product mixes and marketing priorities, but one thing they all share is the goal of winning, retaining, and growing our customer relationships. Typically, there are two ways to maximize customer engagement: seek margin with products like credit cards, or seek volume and deeper relationships with products like home equity.
This report analyzes both of these options through three key lenses: current market conditions, access to today’s high-quality borrowers, and the rich opportunity for integrated, targeted marketing. Our goal is to enable you to determine the best way to fine-tune your strategic customer engagement for 2019 by helping you:
Review current market conditions.
Connect with higher-quality borrowers.
Develop a 360-degree, integrated marketing mix.
Marketing is not getting more difficult because of data— it’s actually getting easier. In the old days you needed to guess who your audience was and plan in advance what you wanted to say and wait far too long to see if it worked. Those days are long gone—now you can determine EXACTLY who your audience is, deliver a relevant, personalized message in a nanosecond, and find out almost immediately whether it worked! You no longer have to live by the spray-and-pray method— you can be tactical in your delivery. Marketing today is data-driven and uses a wealth of insights and connection points to engage with consumers one to one.
Data about our customers and prospects gives us the ability to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time. That’s audience targeting, and it’s far deeper than demo targeting, even though targeting by demo is a nice place to start. That said, the sheer volume of data and technology can be overwhelming. Cut through the noise and tackle the ba
We live in a data-rich world. From visitor behavior on websites and social media interactions to mobile app usage and device communications across the Internet of Things, brands are inundated with data.
Digital marketing. You hear it everywhere. As you and all your competitors know, it’s:
A marketing approach that leverages online channels like email, websites, social media, and display advertising to deliver content that influences opinions and sells products and services.
But to effectively execute a digital marketing strategy, you’ll need a marketing automation system that can follow a customer’s lead around the web and offer the best recommendations at the best times to deliver a more relevant "1-to-you" customer experience.
In order to give their commercial customers the best prices and most flexible purchasing options possible, Floor & Decor offers lines of credit through their preferred credit provider, CIT. To fully leverage and scale this partnership, Floor & Decor needed a way to quickly check credit availability in their retail stores on demand. It also needed to generate invoices to send to their commercial customers while providing assignment notices to CIT.

A number of recent surveys indicate that cloud costs are becoming a major
concern for businesses, many of whom have found cloud computing to be
more expensive than they thought. The surveys align with Gartner’s 2017
prediction that “through 2020, 80% of businesses will overshoot their cloud
infrastructure as a service (IaaS) budgets due to a lack of cost optimization
This could be due to a lack of understanding about cloud pricing, or a lack
of knowledge about the full range of measures that can be taken to reduce
cloud costs. The one area in which businesses are struggling to control
costs more than any other is the hybrid cloud. Analysts attribute hybrid
cloud overspend to the complexity of operating a private or public cloud in
conjunction with an on-premises infrastructure.
Businesses using VMware Cloud (VMC) on AWS don’t experience as much
operational complexity in their hybrid environments, but they can still be
guilty of overspending.

Think back just 5 years ago. In 2014…
• The seminal DevOps book—Gene Kim’s The Phoenix Project—was one year old
• Gartner predicted that 25% of Global 2000 enterprises would adopt DevOps to some extent by 20161
• "Continuous Testing” just started appearing in industry publications and conferences2
• Many of today’s popular test frameworks were brand new—or not yet released
• The term “microservices” was just entering our lexicon
• QC/UFT and ALM were still sold by HP (not even HPE yet)
• Only 30% of enterprise software testing was performed fully “in house”3
• There was no GDPR restricting the use of production data for software testing
• Packaged apps were typically updated on an annual or semi-annual basis and modern platforms like
SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce Lightning hadn’t even been announced
Times have changed—a lot. If the way that you’re testing hasn’t already transformed dramatically, it will soon.
And the pace and scope of disruption will continue to escalate throughout the fo

The way that we develop and deliver software has changed dramatically in the
past 5 years—but the metrics we use to measure quality remain largely the
same. Despite seismic shifts in business expectations, development methodologies,
system architectures, and team structures, most organizations still
rely on quality metrics that were designed for a much different era.
Every other aspect of application delivery has been scrutinized and optimized
as we transform our processes for DevOps. Why not put quality metrics under
the microscope as well?
Are metrics like number of automated tests, test case coverage, and pass/fail
rate important in the context of DevOps, where the goal is immediate insight
into whether a given release candidate has an acceptable level of risk? What
other metrics can help us ensure that the steady stream of updates don’t undermine
the very user experience that we’re working so hard to enhance?
To provide the DevOps community an objective perspective
on what quality
